Is your missionary a "greenie"? (That's Mormon-speak for a newbie missionary).
Then why not send him or her a care package full of things that are green? I'm thinking:
Green jello powder
Green candy - Jolly Ranchers, Starbursts, etc.
Spearmint gum
A green t-shirt for p-day (day off)
Green tie or scarf
Green scripture marking pencil
Green "writing home" paper
Green bookmarks
Green apples
